1. The University of Ibadan, Ibadan, hereby requests all candidates who made the University their First Choice Most Preferred Institution in the 2013/2014 UTME and scored 200 and above, to submit their biodata and SSCE WAEC/NECO or equivalent certificate results ONLINE directly through http://admissions.ui.edu.ng on or before 7 July, 2013.
2. Candidates who are expecting the release of their 2013 ‘O’ level results CAN participate in the 2013/2014 Admissions Exercise by indicating their “Awaiting Result” status appropriately ONLINE. Such results must be uploaded immediately they are released. SSCE (or equivalent) results released after 31 August, 2013 will not be considered for the 2013/2014 Admissions Exercise.
3. Instructions:-
A (i) Candidates are to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira Only (N2,000.00) into U.I Admission Processing Fee Account (See details below):

The teller should have full names of the candidate (SURNAME first) as in the UTME result slip preceeded by the JAMB Registration number, as the payee.
Name and JAMB Registration Number should be quoted in the depositor’s name at the point of payment (in bank). The following format could be adopted:

(ii) Consequent upon payment of the Processing fee of N2,000.00 at the banks, candidates are expected to submit their Teller numbers online. This should be done by logging-in on http://admissions.ui.edu.ng with the JAMB Registration number and submission of a valid e-mail address.
(iii) Candidates will retrieve username and PIN-number on the same web page, immediately after submission of bank teller details.
(iv) Candidates are then expected to log-in onto http://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng to submit their biodata and O’level results.
(v) Candidates should ensure that the on-line forms are carefully filled, following ALL necessary instructions, as “mistake(s)” may lead to disqualification.
B (i) Please fill the on-line forms in CAPITAL letters only.
(ii) Multiple submissions may lead to disqualification.
(iii) Candidates can return to the portal, up till 7 July2013 to edit/complete their previous entries or otherwise review and print their submissions. Please ensure that you click “FINAL SUBMISSIONbefore printing. Applicants should note that no further editing CAN be done after final submissions.
(iv) Kindly use functional e-mail addresses and telephone numbers to enable the University reach you in the course of the Admission exercise, whenever the need arises.
(v) Candidates are expected to upload their passport photographs and signatures. The image format for the passport and signature is JPEG and must not exceed 50kB. The photographs must be on white background showing both ears, without glasses.
(vi) An on-line help desk platform on http://admissions.ui.edu.ng/helpdesk will be available to handle all genuine enquiries.
(vii) Schedule:
Names of all applicants/ candidates for the Post-UTME exercise will be displayed on the University’s Website from 17 July, 2013. Electronic mails (e-mails) and SMS will be sent to ALL invited candidates.
4. Candidates should please note that it is only when an ‘O’ level result is deficient for a course of choice, that another deficient result may be presented to complement. Candidates presenting two ‘O’ level results (6 credits at 2 Sittings except College of Medicine and Pharmacy) should ensure that the comprehensive details of both results are submitted.
5. The deadline for submission of biodata / ‘O’ level results may not be extended. Any candidate whose data are not submitted within the stipulated time may not be considered for admission.
6. Misrepresentation/falsification of documents is a serious offence. Candidates are therefore advised to submit genuine documents only. Anyone found guilty of this offence will be disqualified automatically and may be handed over to the Law Enforcement Agents.
7. Candidates are strongly advised to adhere strictly to the guidelines stipulated above for successful completion of the on-line submissions.
NOTE:
ALL candidates seeking admission in the University of Ibadan for the 2013/2014 academic session MUST be sixteen (16) years old or above by 1st October, 2013.
ONLY candidates who scored 200 and above in the 2013/2014 UTME, duly applied for the Post-UTME screening and logged on their data on the University admission portal will be invited for the Post-UTME screening exercise.

OAU PREDEGREE FORM 2015

Admission into the Pre-degree Programme 2015/2016 Session

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-Degree Programme for 2013/2014 Session.

Eligibility

Eligible Candidates must possess minimum of 5 Credits in 5 subjects at a maximum of two sittings including English Language (for ALL Courses), Mathematics (for Science-based and Social Science-based Courses) and Literature-in-English (for Law).

Duration

The programme normally runs for two (2) contact periods both within nine (9) calendar months.

Method of Application

  1. Pay the Application fee of ₦15000.00 through e-Tranzact Payment Platform at any branch of First Bank, Skye Bank, Wema Bank or UBA Plc Nationwide. A Receipt which contains a Receipt Number and Confirmation Order Number will be given to you at the Bank. (Please note that Bank charges apply and must be paid).
  2. Go to OAUCDL website: (www.oaucdl.edu.ng) and Click on: "2015/2016 Pre-Degree Application" and read the Instruction carefully. Create your account by clicking on "Apply Now!". You are to supply valid username, password, email address and other required information.
  3. After creating the Account, login back into your Account with your username and password.
  4. Click on "Proceed to confirm your payment" and enter your e-tranzact Receipt Number and Confirmation Order Number.
  5. Fill the online Application Form and upload your recent passport photograph. The passport photograph must meet the following specifications:
    • The passport photograph must be coloured with white background (Black and white photograph is not acceptable).
    • The passport must be recent (not earlier than 3 Months before the time of the application) and the size should not be more than 100KB.
  6. After filling the form, logout and keep your username and password safe. (Save your Username and Password on your Phone so as not to forget). Keep checking the website from time to time for the actual date of the entrance examination. In the meantime, you can take the practice examination to get familiar with Computer-based test.

General Information

  • Applicants are to note that the 2015/2016 Pre-degree entrance exam will be computer-based. You are hereby advised to familiarise yourself with the basic use of computer.
  • 2015 /2016 Pre-Degree Applicants are advised to to be checking our website from time to time for the actual date of the Entrance Exam and other relevant information.
  • All candidates are required to register for 2016 UTME during the Programme.
  • All Candidates are required to use valid e-mail addresses and PERSONAL Telephone Numbers.
  • The forms must be filled and submitted on-line either immediately or within 2 weeks of accessing the website. No downloaded or printed copies of forms will be accepted.
  • Applicants are to note that 2015/2016 Pre-Degree Entrance Exam holds at Ile-Ife Centre only.

Nigerian Navy Recruitment: Direct Short Service Commission 2013 application form for graduates and post graduate applicants

Applications are invited from suitable and qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigerian Navy through Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) course 22 of 2013.

GUIDELINES

1) Interested candidates are advised to apply online at the Nigerian Navy e-Recruitment Portal, www.joinnigeriannavy.com
2) Applicants are to purchase access pins and make payment on the Nigerian Navy e-Recruitment Portal using any debit card (Verve, Visa, Master Card) issued by any Nigerian Bank.
3) Applicants are to note that applications submitted online without payment of application fee will not be validated for processing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Interested applicants who must be Nigerians by birth, must posses a minimum of second class upper division for first degree holders and upper credit for HND holders. Male applicants must not be less than 1.70 metres tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.67 metres tall. Applicants should be between 22 and 28 years by 31st December 2013. Architects, Lawyers, Medical Doctors, Imams and Chaplains are not to exceed 30 years by 31st December 2013.

NAVAL INFORMATION
Applicants must possess BA or HND in Mass Communication, Journalism or Printing Technology. Knowledge of ICT and membership of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations will be an added advantage.

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
Applicants must possess B.Sc/B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, B.Eng Electronics and B.Eng Computer. Priority will be given to candidates with relevant qualification in website design, ORACLE, CISCO and JAVA certifications coupled with relevant working experience.

IMAM
Applicants must possess BA Degree in Islamic studies with special reference to Islamic Jurisprudence and Theology. Applicants with Post-Graduate Diploma in Islamic studies must have 5years experience. Applicants must be able to read and write in English Language.
10.
LEGAL SERVICES
Applicants must possess LL.B and BL with 3years post call experience. Possession of LLM and specialization in maritime Law, commercial Law, IHL and LOAC is an added advantage.

LOGISTICS
  • Quantity Survey: Minimum of BSc/HND Quantity Survey.
  • Building Engineering: Minimum of BSc/HND Building Engineering.
  • Structural Engineering: Minimum of BSc/HND in Structural Engineering required.
  • Architecture: MSc Architecture is required.
  • Land Survey: Bsc or HND in Land Survey, Geoinformatics or Cartography. Certificate in GIS and membership of NIS will be an added advantage.
  • Civil Engineering: Minimum of BSc/HND Civil Engineering is required.
  • Estate Management: BSc/HND in Estate Management is required.
  • Dietician: BSc/HND in Dietetics / Nutrition Science is required.

MEDICAL
  • Medical Doctors: (General Duty Medical Officers) MBBS or equivalent qualification required. Certificate of full registration and current license to practice from MDCN are relevant. Academic BSc degree holders are not required
  • Radiography: Minimum of BSc/HND required.
  • Nursing: BNSc/SRN or SRM with post basic qualification in a nursing field. Sub specializations such as ICU, A&E, Theatre, and Anesthesia will be an added advantage.
  • Medical Records: Minimum of BSc/HND required.
  • Dental Surgeons
  • Lab Scientists:Minimum of BSc/HND Medical Lab Sciences
  • Dieticians
  • Clinical Psychologist: BSc/MSc Clinical Psychology other professional certificates will be an added advantage.
  • Pharmacy: Minimum of BPharm is required. Possession of other professional certificate will be an added advantage.

Entry Requirement for the National Diploma (ND) Programmes
i. SSCE/GCE ordinary level of it equivalent with credits in four (4) subjects relevant to the course, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings;
For 1A-C, credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are required, plus any other subject from Biology/Agricultural Science, Economics/Commerce, Government, Geography, Book Keeping/Principles of Account, Technical Drawing.

For all Engineering Technology course/options above, Science Laboratory Technology, Fisheries and Fisheries Technology and Industrial Safety, a pass in English language is acceptable.
For 1C (ii-iv) Credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, a basic Science subject from any of Physics, Chemistry, Biology is required; plus any other subject form: Geography, Economics/Commerce Technical Drawing.

For 1D, Credit passes, in English Language and Mathematics are required; plus any two (2) Credits from the following: Accounts Agricultural Science/Biology, Business Methods, Commerce/Economics Government, History, French, Literature in English and Statistics.

(ii) Four Credit passes in relevant subjects obtained at the final examination of an NBTE recognized preliminary ND programme offered in a polytechnic or similar Post-secondary Technical Institution.

(ii) City and Guides/WAEC Technical Certificate and the Federal Craft Certificate with a pass in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics or Chemistry in relevant programmes

(iii) National Technical Certificate (NTC) with a credit in a trade and passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics with Chemistry and one of the following: Technical/Engineering Drawing, General Metal work, General woodwork etc Subjects relevant to the programme

(iv) For 2d, GCE ‘O’ level or SSCE ordinary passes or their equivalent in English Language, Mathematics and any two of the following Economics, Commerce, Geography, Business Method, Principles of Accounts, Government or the National Business Certificate with a credit pass in Business Trade.

Properly completed application forms and photocopies of credentials as well as other documents specified in the application form must be returned to the Registrar, Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu through any of the collection centre mentioned above not later than 6th September, 2013.

Aptitude test holds on Saturday, 21th September, 2013 at 10.00am in any of the Centre of Choice indicated in candidates application form.
